Berenice Méndez is a designer and creative director from the El Paso–Ciudad Juárez border, now based in San Francisco. She leads the Brand Features and Foundations team at Dropbox, where she helps shape the company’s visual identity through design systems, illustration, and digital storytelling. 

Her journey began at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she studied graphic design and discovered the power of visual communication to connect people across contexts. She joined Dropbox as a Senior Brand Designer, focusing on HelloSign’s visual identity and creating cohesive experiences across web, marketing, and internal initiatives. These projects gave her a reputation for balancing thoughtful systems with engaging creative expression. 

Méndez’s approach to design is rooted in resourcefulness and hard work ethic. Her career reflects the path of a border-raised designer who has carried the layered influences of home into the global tech world.
